A Student Seminar Day was held in the College on Thursday 9 October.
Guest speakers were: Finola Butler (Further Education Support Service),
Geraldine King and Sarah Fagan (Mary B Cremin Employment Agency),
past student Paul Uzo (graduate from Advanced Financial Services),
Paul Rudden (Guidance Counsellor, Whitehall College).
Workshops were held on Preparation for Assessment and Examinations,
Organisational Skills, Referencing, Work Experience, Surviving in College.
These were given by staff members Marie Humphries, Conan Doyle, Bernadette
Brady, Barbara Forde and Angela O'Doherty.
Light refreshments and music were available in a chill-out room!
It was a very successful day and students expressed real interest and
appreciation for all the helpful information they received. The event
was organised by Angela O'Doherty, Marie Humphries and Marie-Therese Boisse.

Intercultural Day on April 26 was a great success. Students provided some wonderful dishes from their own countries and there were many beautiful costumes worn on the day.
