LEVEL 5 HEALTHCARE SUPPORT AWARD (DHSXX) 2 YEARS

This course will enable the student to develop the knowledge, skills and experience to be employed as a healthcare worker in an acute or long-term care setting. A substantial part of the course will be dedicated to English language skills.

Entry Requirements

Mature students will be admitted to the course subject to interview. Students are required to present for interview with two references relevant to social care.

 

Progression

Students will be eligible for employment in a wide range of care settings.
In some cases, students may be eligible to apply to Third Level Colleges.
