LEVEL 5 COMPONENT CERTIFICATE ONE YEAR

This Course has been designed for students from overseas who wish to develop their competency in English as a second language. Students will also acquire Information Technology skills.

There are two courses; Course One and Course Two

Course Content (Course Two)

• English as a second Language
• Computer Applications
• General Studies Module

Certification

FETAC/NCVA Componant Cerfiticate , University of Cambridge KET PET, First Certificate in English

 

Entry Requirements

Course One : A basic competency in the English language is required to follow this programme.

Course Two : This course is suitable for students who have already completed course One or who have a working knowledge of both written and spoken English.

Candidates for both Course One and Course Two will be interviewed and assessed to determine their competency in English prior to acceptance on either programme.

Progression

COURSE 1: Successful students may proceed to course two at Whitehall College.
COURSE 2: Successful students may proceed to further studies at Whitehall College.
