Entry Requirements

Ordinary Leaving Certificate/Leaving Certificate Applied. All applicants must have two references relevant to social care and are subject to individual and group interview. Applications are welcome from mature students with relevant experience.

Progression/Employment

Students will develop the skills necessary to take up employment as a care assistant in a variety of care settings for older people.

Students may be eligible to apply to Third Level Colleges through the Higher Education Links Scheme.
