This course has been designed in conjunction with Medical Administration personnel from some major hospitals. It is designed to provide students with the knowledge, skills and routines required to successfully gain employment in medical administrative settings.

Entry Requirements

Ordinary Level Leaving Certificate/Leaving Certificate Applied. Applications are welcome from mature students or those with appropriate work experience. All entry is subject to interview.
Note:
A test in English Language competency will form part of the interview process.

 

Progression/Employment Opportunities

Students who successfully complete this course will be able to apply for suitable positions in medical/hospital administration settings. Experience of these will be gained during extended work experience periods. Students will also be eligible to apply for places in Third Level Colleges through the Higher Education Links Scheme.
