Course Aim

This course aims to prepare students to work in
the Wine Retail Sales Industry. It offers a
FETAC Level 5 qualification in the Retail area. It
will enable students to develop the knowledge,
skills and experience necessary to successfully
gain employment in the retail industry. Through
the work experience programme, students will
have the opportunity to develop effective
customer care skills, selling techniques and
marketing practice.

Entry Requirements

Ordinary level Leaving Certificate/Leaving
Certificate Applied. Applications are welcome
from mature students or those with appropriate
work experience. All entry is subject to interview.

 

Progression/Employment Opportunities

Students will acquire the skills necessary to
take up employment in the Wine Retail sector.
Students may also continue with their studies
in Third level through the Higher Education
Links Scheme.
