Course Aim This course with its mixture of FETAC Level 6 and Institute of Bankers Modules should enable students to progress quickly to middle management positions in the Financial Services Industry or to progress to Further or Higher Education.
Course Content
Certification FETAC/NCVA Business Management Studies Award Level 6.
Entry Requirements A level 5 FETAC qualification or its equivalent. For the Institute of Bankers exams Leaving Certificate with 5 passes including ordinary level Maths and English are required. This is not required if a student is over 21. Exemption from a maximum of two Modules may be possible depending on Modules previously achieved at Level 5. Progression/Employment Opportunities Graduates from this course will be equipped to apply for a range of positions in Banking/Finance and related employments. They may also progress to higher education through the Higher Education Links Scheme.
