LEVEL 6 BUSINESS MANAGEMENT STUDIES AWARD (BBMXX) 1 YEAR

 

Course Aim

This course with its mixture of FETAC Level 6 and Institute of Bankers Modules should enable students to progress quickly to middle management positions in the Financial Services Industry or to progress to Further or Higher Education.

Certification

FETAC/NCVA Business Management Studies Award Level 6.
The Institute of Bankers in Ireland Financial Services diploma (one or two modules)

 

Entry Requirements

A level 5 FETAC qualification or its equivalent.

For the Institute of Bankers exams Leaving Certificate with 5 passes including ordinary level Maths and English are required. This is not required if a student is over 21.

Exemption from a maximum of two Modules may be possible depending on Modules previously achieved at Level 5.

Progression/Employment Opportunities

Graduates from this course will be equipped to apply for a range of positions in Banking/Finance and related employments.

They may also progress to higher education through the Higher Education Links Scheme.
