insurance & banking...LEVEL 5 FETAC BUSINESS STUDIES AWARD (BBSXX) ONE YEAR This course will provide students with a foundation in insurance principles and the types of insurance available. It will also provide students with an insight into the Insurance Industry and provide them with the necessary skills to enter into the business arena.
Course Content
Certification Insurance Institute of Ireland – Insurance Foundation Certificate (Gen 1A)
Entry Requirements Ordinary Level Leaving Certificate/Leaving Certificate Applied. Applications are welcome from mature students or those with appropriate work experience. All entry is subject to interview.
Progression/Employment Students will acquire the skills necessary to take up employment in the Insurance, Banking or general Financial Industry sectors. Students may be eligible to apply to Third Level Colleges through the Higher Education Links Scheme. Please note that the combination of modules outlined above may be subject to revision.
