LEVEL 5 INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AWARD (CITXX)

This course is designed to equip students with the skills and techniques to enter and progress in a particularly exciting, fast developing area of technology. Multimedia is the electronic manipulation of text, video, sound and imagery. This full-time course aims to introduce students to the use of multimedia computing in a range of design and production areas.

Ordinary Level Leaving Certificate/Leaving Certificate Applied.  Applications are welcome from mature students. All entry is subject to interview.

 

Progression/Employment

The skills acquired on this course will provide an excellent grounding for participants to progress in the Multimedia Industry.  Students interested in attending a Third Level College may avail of this option through the Higher Education Links Scheme.
