general information ...Introduction: Whitehall College of Further Education provides a wide range of courses designed to give our students the skills necessary for progression to employment or further study. In Whitehall College all our courses provide certification. We offer courses with recognised National Certification (FETAC) and Internationally recognised Examining Bodies. These include: The Department of Education and Science (DES) Code of Conduct: College discipline in general is broadly based on practices found in the world of work, in terms of attendance, punctuality, treatment of fellow students and members of staff, work input, study habits, attitude and completion of course work. Student Identity Card:All students are issued with a Student Identity Card when their registration process has been completed. Students' Council:The college encourages student participation in the Students' Council. A representative is elected from each class group. The council is encouraged to organise in-college and external social and cultural events for students. Staff are represented on the council and this acts as a conduit for bringing issues to management. In addition the council elects a representative to the College Board of Management.
